**BREAKING NEWS**

The Queen has shared Empress Marie Feodorovna's Sapphire Brooch with the Princess Royal. The Princess wore it last night for the Team GB Gala, an year after it was last spotted on The Queen.

No information if the brooch was a loan or a gift from mother to daughter.



PS: Lovely earrings, too.

Queen and brooch have been reunited! I'm sure the Sultan of Oman and his Consort were delighted to see it up close today at Windsor.

I'm afraid the dude is too cool to even wear a wedding ring. One was not even made for him, iirc.

Re. the bangles - both brothers have been wearing this types of bracelets since the late 1990's. The probably got them on a trip to Africa. Looks like copper, based on the colouring on William's hand.

I agree with you - wear fewer jewels in the beggining and then when she's comfortable and sure in her role as Princess wear sth larger.
On anither note, I'd love if the Queen gives Catherine (or has already given her) a nice three row pearl necklace. A bit like saying welcome to the family. I do hope to see a diamond tiara (preferably one we've not seen in a long time) against her dark hair. With a nice updo, in contrast to what we've seen so far.

Wasn't I right, though? We've seen some impressive jewels - the Nizam, the collet necklace, Queen Alexandra's pearls, the Greville ruby bandeau, the wedding gift bracelet... And the updo's followed shortly after my post

We still have to see the trademark pearls and an all-diamond tiara!
