Hello Everyone.
I am going to buy my Wife a pair of Round Brilliant diamond stud earrings for Christmas. I have never bought round brilliant studs before and have a few questions.
Cut is important, I want sparklers. I assume GIA/AGS Excellent/Ideal is the way to go, right?
I am color sensitive. I don't think she is, but to be fair I will probably see them more than her since they are on the side of her head
How low should I go on the color scale. Typically I stay in the D-G range, can/should I go lower for earrings. I really like the prices of J/K and could get a bigger size for the same price, but I haven't seen a K in person. I am not sure how warm they can look. Setting will be white gold/simple 3 or 4 prong.
I want these to be eye clean. Most SI2's should be ok right? They are only going to be .40-.50ct each.
Thank you for your help.
