It does not look good. There is no distinguishable faceting pattern. Not sure if that's because of inclusions or a bad cut, or both.
Like sledge said, post the GIA cert number.
What’s the clarity? I can’t tell if those are imperfections or the picture is really poor.
Is it supposed to be a modern round brilliant? Like others mentioned, the lack of arrows isn’t promising.
Need better pics, but for now, it’s not very promising
First of all, the size is nice and I like G or higher color in a diamond, so good job there. That being said, there's something seriously wrong with this diamond. I assume you picked a decent clarity and that you took (or obtained) a reasonably good picture of the diamond. That leaves only one likely possibility-- it's just a really poorly cut stone. At roughly one carat, the cutter probably sacrificed cut to hit that "magic" weight.
Doesn't look good from the pictures, because no facet pattern is visible. As others said, post the Gia number so we have more info. But my instinct is that this isn't a well cut or good performing stone.
