Hello everyone.
I am new on the forum and young French collector of minerals :).
I would like to have if you had any information about Mr. Ceglady Ken. Because I bought an Indian brown diamond from his collection.
I also bought a small lot with 2 diamonds. the yellow is 0.55ct and the green 0.70ct. Do you have any ideas for their origins?
Thank you in advance for diamond lovers 20180516_224040.jpg 20180825_023026.jpg 20180611_235251.jpg 20180611_235448.jpg 20180611_235324.jpg

Hi, unfortunately unlike say Burmese rubies or Kashmir sapphires, diamonds don’t have any inclusions that are specific or unique to a certain location. Sometime colour can point to an origin, ie pink diamonds from the Argle mine in Western Australia, but diamonds are found in many locations and on many continents.
Origin, other than not being “blood diamonds ie from conflict zones” doesn’t play a part in a diamonds value or desirability. The normal 4 Cs apply plus a premium for rare colours.
If you purchased from an Indian seller, their origin is more likely Indian.

I have no useful information for you, but I do want to compliment you on the photos. How enjoyable to see the trigons on the green.

Welcome to Pricescope too.

Hello and thank you for your welcome and for responding so quickly. That's exactly what I was told at a scholarship. But I did prefer to ask diamond specialists. And I like the forums and can discuss between passionate ^^. It will be that someone will tell me for the source but just with photos it will be complicated.
Otherwise the brown comes from the Majhgawan mine. I'm happy because I do not see much on the market of this mine :). And the shape is nice I think (twin dodecaedron?). And who is this famous Ceglady Ken ? The seller did not give me any info about it ...
Thank you for the compliment on my photos. Not easy to capture trigons not exceeding mm. Small diamond but light green and IF quality :) !
