Very pretty! They''re a nice shade of blush. Not too coppery like some rose golds.

When did you get your 1.5 pear? I don''t remember seeing a thread on it. Can you post more photos and specs and all that? It looks great on your hand.

MC, I got my pear last month. Always always wanted to get a 2 carat pear and this was for sale by a PSer on another thread. It''s a 1.5 carat non certified pear. It came with an appraisal from 2007 and I had it reappraised by my local jeweler.

The stats according to the cert are 9.2 x 6.5 x 3.7 G SI2 with approximate weight of 1.5 carats. I could not get the actual weight because it was already set and I did not want to unset and reset the stone. My friend has a 1.5 carat pear and we compared our rings and they are about the same size, hers is a little fatter and mine is a little longer.


It came in it''s platinum setting which I had resized to a 5.5 from an 8.


I normally would not buy such a pricey item from someone, but she is a member here and has posted pictures of her ring before or made mention of it on other threads, so I decided why not. I made her an offer and she said yes.


I got it for a phenomenal price, as I otherwise would not have purchased an SI2. Think more than half less what purrfectpear paid for her 2 carat pear.

It is super eye clean. Absolutely no black spots and only when you tilt it in the light can you see a tiny tiny speck of an inclusion. I am extremely picky about clarity so I was a little worried prior to getting it.

I haven''t taken pictures or posted a thread about her as I haven''t even posted a thread about my upgrade from June. I will do it eventually.

Milgrain + Pave are 2 of the magic words in my favorite settings. Those 2 complement the Simon G perfectly.
 
Butterfly, you always find the most amazing deals! lol I am jealous. Recently, I''ve been hunting on CL looking for "Whiteflash" items that people may be putting up for sale. Nothing has popped up. . .which is quite a sigh of relief to my husband.

If you ever get a chance, (or free break from your children - lol), you should post a single thread showing pictures of all your goodies!

butterfly, I emailed the seller to see if they happen to make them in my size. I never got push presents for having any of my kids and think they would be perfect to represent my 2 girls. I really do think they are so pretty..
