Risk in setting a demantoid?

Hello all, I just posted the other day about a 1.3K demantoid that I intend to have placed in a setting. Should I be overly concerned about having this stone placed in a setting due to its hardness (~7)? Just curious if anyone has experienced any issues with demantoids and settings.

I haven't set any but I really don't see any issues with it if an experienced jeweller sets it. My local jeweller has set a peridot and several amethysts for me and both these gemstones have a MOH 7 hardness (the same as a garnet). As long as you are doing a prong set, I would not worry.

What if she chooses a bezel setting? Is that a concern?
