I am contemplating of entrusting Barmakian Brothers in Boston to remake a piece of jewelry containing a few dozen of diamonds in it. How safe is it to leave a valuable piece of jewlery with them (or generally with any diamond shop) and expect that you get your stones in the new piece(s)?
Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
