Redoing my radiant halo

Hi, I am finally having my engagement ring redone after a few failed attempts. Here are two pics my jeweler sent me so far. Any thoughts??? TIA

Will the same jeweller of the failed attempts create the new ring?
Do you have any inspiration pics of the look you are trying to create, preferably rings that are designed and made by your jeweller?

I liked the way the jeweler did my first ring but wanted diamonds on the stems and on the sides which I was originally talked out of. Then I had Victor Canera redo the ring and although I think other rings I have seen on here are beautiful, I hated mine that he made. So now back to the drawing board with my original jeweler who is making my ring the way I want it. And to be clear the only reason I was advised of not having diamonds on the stems and on the side of the halo was because originally I was wearing it with my eternity band but I have decided to just wear them on separate fingers.

The picture of the ring looks beautiful but in person the melee and pave were so small it didn't look good proportional wise. I asked Victor to make it with a bit bigger stones and he said NO. Also, when I received the ring it was filled with black stuff and they wanted me to send it back to them to have it fixed. Considering his reputation you would've thought that it would've been sent to me in a proper condition. Just a bad experience

To be honest, most people here are going to love your VC setting more. I love the Emilya! But of course you should get what you want. As far as the CADs go, the halo should be tilted slightly, and to me there needs to be some kind of doughnut rather than having the struts (stems) just sticking out of the shank.

That's very pretty! It looks like that halo does not have diamonds on the sides of the halo, though, and your CADs do. I actually like the one in the pictures a little more. It also has the little doughnut I was talking about.
