Recommendations for delicate setting

I think I am about to pull the trigger on the purchase of some stones (if this needs to be moved to CS please do, just thought I'd get more visibility here).

They are fairly delicate themselves and small, 2.2mm, so I am hoping to find someone who can do really gorgeous delicate settings. I don't want them to be overwhelmed with metal kwim?

Most vendors are going to want to source melee they have access to themselves. You’ll have a very difficult time finding a vendor (of goods of fine quality) willing to work with your diamond or blue/red/pink corundum melee, for example - and even if you do price will likely be just as much as if they’d sourced the stones themselves. The cost is in the labour here.

If they’re unique coloured gems that those vendors aren’t able to source that’s a different discussion, but the odds of that being the case do not favour consumers! Trade will almost always have access to more than non-trade.

What type of melee are you thinking about buying?
