Re-DECO-ration Project FINI!!!

Hoo-ray! My months long Re-DECO-ration project is finally, finally complete & my SPARKLY is back on my greedy, mildly swollen, tragically pale HAND!!!!

For those that missed the who/what/when/where/why ... this thread has the ''splainin'' to do, Lucy.

But, really, WHO CARES. All ya want is the pix, right?? OKAY THEN.

It bears repeating from the first thread - the reDECO is gorgeous! I did love the original setting but can clearly see how this one is so much more user-friendly. I love the seamless way they did the fix - it truly looks like it was always meant to look this way, not as an afterthought. Brava!!

Your ring looks gorgeous. I love how they milgrained the head on the sides, making it fit in fluidly with the rest of the setting. I know what you''re saying about this one being more user-friendly, coming from the owner of the same setting!

The original was gorgeous but it''s all fun and games until someone loses an eye! It looks much sleeker this new way and it looks like they did an amazing job!

My ring is smooth and round everywhere without a prong in sight...just because I''m an accident waiting to happen!

LIZZ -- guess what! They saved the old head and it''s 99% perfect ... I immediately thought of you and the mangling that quick-set place did to yours. You have the rest of the setting, I have the head ... we have to figure a way for me to send you the head so you can have a great - doesn''t have to be so, so user-friendly RHR sometime - when you find the right colored stone. It''s got YOUR name on it - in an envelope - on my dresser.

HAAAAA-HA! Ain''t that the truth! It probably required a "carry permit" by NY State Law. They call it: "Ol'' Stabby". But no more! (I do think it would work as a RHR though, paging Lizz!)
