Last Wednesday we received the bad news that DH has prostate cancer. We are coming to terms with the big C word and have had another visit with our family doctor who willingly answered the many questions we had. Today Hubby went to the hospital for bone and CT scans to determine whether the cancer has spread.

The results won''t be available until mid to late next week, but we''d really appreciate some kind thoughts and *dust*.

Lots of dust to you and your husband.
FWIW prostate cancer is one of the most curable cancers (depending on the stage)

Isaku,
Sending you and your hubby lots of prayers, and well wishes. From what I know it's very treatable and is slow in progressing. But am sending tons of dust and positive vibes , hugs and love your way as you deal with this. Hang in there, and please keep us posted!!!!

Good luck to you and DH as you navigate this new road. My DH and I are awaiting results for his prostate biopsy taken last Monday so I''ve had nothing else on my mind--I''m sure you''ll relate to that! Have you looked at much on the internet? Here''s a site where people write in their experiences etc that I have found interesting: http://www.yananow.net/Links.html

Isaku, I am so sorry to hear this. Sending you and your husband lots of dust, I hope that the results come back and show minimal or no spreading.

Ditto! Tons of dust headed your way. My dad got diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier this year, had the surgery shortly after, and his PSA levels are now a-okay. I hope your husband''s case is the same!

sorry to hear this. lots of good luck dust headed your way.

Lots of dust and postive thoughts. My father was diagnosed six years ago, had it removed without further treatment and is ticking along nicely. I think it is one of the most treatable cancers there is. My best friend is a Nurse and she told me that lots of men die with Prostate Cancer, not because of it. take care

Thinking about you both and hoping for successful treatment.

Sending boatloads of dust to both you and your hubby, Isaku!!!!

I am very sorry to hear this. I understand what you are going thru, since my mom was diagnosed with having a cancerous tumor on her spine. Many hugs and kisses to you and your family. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers! Mounds and mounds of dust!
