So we decided to put deposit down on a 2.17 CT G VS2 that scores 1.3 on HCA. It's triple excellent on 56 table (I prefer smaller tables).

It was the ONLY one under our budget! Whilst I love the diamond, the inclusions do bother me a bit. Before seeing the diamond, I was a bit concerned that the crystals will be black carbons but they turned out to be white. But they are right in the center of the table!

But price was right.

What do you guys thing? Other than that inclusion, the diamond is quite perfect, in my rather unprofessional view. But any input is appreciated!!! :wavey:

If you love it and think it is perfect then it sounds like you got a good deal.

If you can't see the inclusions, that good enough.

I'm a little confused - you say the diamond is perfect but the inclusions bother you. Can you see them? Or is it just the fact that the diamond has them? If you can't see them I would just relax and enjoy the stone!

Re: Question on VS2 inclusion on the center of the table - G

I guess my concerns is whether that inclusion in the center of the table will hinder with the brilliance or cause light leakage. I did not get a chance to look at the ideal scope. :(

And, yes. Other than the inclusion location, the diamond is perfect!!!

Thanks for your help!

VS2 inclusions are not going to hurt the light performance of the stone. If it is eyeclean, you have no worries!
