Question on Vache U-113 6-Prong Setting

@msop04 - I really like your setting too. What kind is yours and how think is the ring? I am loving the 6 prongs more and more. Thanks.

Thank you. It is a CVB modified "Jovyn" with petite tab prongs. I actually asked Caysie to do prongs that were reminiscent of vintage Tiffany & Co. As far as dimensions, I will post the CAD for better clarity. The knife edge is sharper at the top, but softens to almost round as it approaches the bottom for comfort.

The taper isn't as evident viewing from the top - it is more so from the side and IRL.

I am really excited about it. It is paid and I just have to tell them the engraving. So I am not sure what the WF turn around time is. Maybe a few weeks. I will post photos as soon as it arrives.

Love seeing your ring @msop04. Love the smooth transitions and variations that many others lack. Very well done IMO. Simple but not simple if that makes sense and all done very eloquently.

They told me mine would be three weeks and I got it in about 10 days! But I’m sure it varies for everyone.

I had this idea to check the setting on the WF site ... The Vatche U113 says “please allow three weeks for completion” ... WF is bound by the designer time frames. So ... I would mark three weeks on the calendar, but I’ll bet you $2 it will be ready in about two, if not less.

Thanks for all of your replies. Sounds like I will have the ring not more than 3 weeks out. But maybe much sooner! Did anyone use their appraisal service? I asked for an appraisal to get it insured with my homeowners.

For everything that I have bought from wf that I have insured I have used the appraisal that was given by them. So I have insured an amount that is exactly what I paid, not more. I use jewelers mutual though not a homeowners rider.
