Pave~It is so hard because they can''t tell you what is bothering them. Hopefully it it''s his tooth that''s causing problems it''ll pop through quickly. Have you been doing cereal?

curly~Oh my. I can''t even think about the word "boyfriend" yet. Sounds so cute, though, with Lily and her little guy.
21.gif
It is absolutely unbelievable the things kids retain without us even realizing it.

iluv~Thanks! So glad you''re sticking around!

puffy~I think your B is a bit more of an intellectual than my nephew.
3.gif
Poor kid would lift my shirt up looking for that baby (pretty much anywhere and everywhere which was interesting) and was just ticked when it was just my huge belly.
21.gif
T is doing great. She really seems to understand that Dh is away this time, though, which is kind of sad. She keeps asking for daddy and walking to the door to look for him.
7.gif

QT~I was off BC for 4 months before I started charting. I was kind of hoping it would just happen by not preventing without having to "try" but it didn''t and my cycle is a mess so I needed to figure out what the heck was going on. Turns out I''m ovulating 10 days later than a "regular" cycle so thank goodness I started charting! Sorry poor M regressed with her sleep. It''s so hard when you don''t know if it''s just a phase or if something hurts, ect. Hopefully she''ll get back into her old pattern soon!

lili~A diamond birthstone is def. a bonus!! Our maternity leave is a joke. You have to exhaust all of your leave (which is a combined of vacation and sick) and then disability kicks in after your leave is gone and only up to 6 weeks. I will not have more than 6 weeks built back up after exhausting all my leave when I had T and with her being sick a lot. I had to take a month unpaid with her so I could stay home 10 weeks total and I''d prefer to not have to take unpaid leave since I''m only part time anyway. We all need to live in Canada!
9.gif

Jas12~Is Co putting words together already? I can just imagine he and B talking in full sentences to one another. T still doesn''t put words together, I''m just happy she can actually repeat words after me.

janine~Sounds like C is doing great. T started wanting to eat everything I did around C''s age too. Fun fun. I think a diamond birthstone would work just fine for me!

Dh is out of town and T and I have a busy weekend planned. Baseball game tomorrow and my brother graduates high school Sunday. I''m glad we''ll be keeping busy without DH around. Makes it go by faster. Happy Friday all!!

Burk--no words together. Just single words, but lots of them. Funny thing is, when we ask him what something is (once we know, he knows it) he laughs at us most of the time.
Still working on those plans. DH has them at work or something.
Is your class getting nutty yet with the nice weather? We are watching a movie right now, to kick start the holiday weekend we have here. Easy day.
Your w/e sounds fun. Aw, HS grad. That is a big deal. I remember mine like yesterday
I agree, busy is best when DH isn''t around. Mine is going away this weekend too (Bachelor party at some cottage) but at least my sister will be in town!

Linda, thanks you little match maker!
2.gif

Burk, thanks. I really feel calm today. I think I finally accepted that I am powerless. Bad things happen...part of life. But I know if I take care of myself, I''ll be okay. I''m not going anywhere anytime soon.

pave, oh I am BEYOND stressed! Haha. But things will work out how they are intended. It is frustrating when I don''t sleep b/c of ME not T. KWIM? I have a nikon D60 and like TGal have never ventured off "auto." Outside pics is what makes the difference IMHO. I use the short lens the most.

Jas12, yes I AM quite the talker
9.gif
Haha. I have this amazing sense of calm today.

TGal, you gotta take some outside. All mine are on "auto" but the natural light really helps!

curly, haha! I got lucky finding her. She was referred by a friend. I think that''s the best way to go in terms of childcare. Hope you find someone soon. Wish you lived closer too. Can''t believe Lily has a boyfriend!!!

Bobo, I will be in SF but feel free to drive up
2.gif
Sleeping is an issue with me but I am getting used to it. Last night a friend was watching T and at 8:15 she walked over to the gate and said "bed." She asked T "you want to go night, night?" She said "yes!" So funny.

puffy, T is doing good but she senses my stress which is making her fussy and clingy. I have been trying to be gentle with her b/c she is being so sensitive. Poor B and the auto flushers! I bet that is scary for a little person.

msb, thank you! She isn''t waking up...just me
15.gif
Around 4:30 for the past three mornings. It is great knowing no matter what I get two free hours a week free. Glad K''s eating is improving!

Q, well I would love to meet you but understand. Sorry M is having a hard time sleeping. She is getting her teeth fast!

Lili, I think I am just lucky she is so happy. Usually.

janine, sorry you are lonely over there. You are welcome here of course! I am still not sleeping...oh well. Sounds like C is doing great!

Jas12~T doesn''t do many words together either (and she''s 2 months older than Co). She just recently started talking like crazy. When she was Co''s age she really only knew basics (like mamma, dadda, puppy, ni ni). Tell your Dh that I''m getting impatient waiting to see your plan!
3.gif
We got our bid back today and our number was higher than we wanted to be (granted our plan ended up 250 square feet more than we were intending too) so we are looking to cut some square footage now....we may not be breaking ground by the 27th. boo. Our kids are getting pretty crazy. We have 13 days left and they can''t go fast enough! Glad your sister is around to keep you busy this weekend. Mine is staying with us tonight. I''m relieved to have some company!

Tacori~Glad you are feeling better today. I hope you start getting some better sleep. That has to be stressful in and of itself. My T does the same thing when she''s ready for bed-she just heads to the stairs.

Your kids are all stinking brilliant. Do you think Amelia is slow because she understands when I keep telling her she''s a mofo compared to Co, lili and Jake? I think her first words will be "go to hell."
41.gif

Tacori, glad to hear you feel more calm today. Hugs to you.

Thanks gals for the tip on the munchin cup. Will go and look for them. Another OT appointment with Amelia today. *sigh*. When I had a kid, I never thought I''d be taking her to therapy because she won''t bite down at 13.5 months.
20.gif
She has some kind of weird biting aversion, and pretends to chew but not sure if she''s actually chewing. And the stinker now has TWELVE teeth...what the f*ck are you using them for if you''re not going to bite your freaking food? All we are waiting for are her canines now, and second molars later. Twelve stinking worthless teeth. I''m going to tell her the tooth fairy is never gonna pay out for teeth that have not seen an honest day''s work!

QT, your av still cracks me up EVERY TIME. I get giggle fits looking at it. I''m going to have to save it to my hard drive.

lili, I agree...it was really nice having a kid in the spring. Dental work is far from done, but so far, so good! Thanks for asking.

Oh, and I finally downloaded bday pics of Amelia! Now I just have to size them.

20.gif

But how about this goofy one I took on my blackberry? TGuy said the least I could have done was clean the glasses. They were a junk pair that I found, so that''s why they were so dirty. She didn''t even try to take them off...she just stood still trying to figure out what was going on. That''s when I took this photo. Typical expression of Miss. NoSmile.

Tgal~LOVE the pic! I hope the OT appts are helping. We had to take T when she was younger because of her tongue and the OT was awesome.

QT: sorry to hear about Meena''s regression in sleeping
7.gif
hope things go back to normal soon ..

Jas12: i got K a 3 in one potty (the one that comes with a bowl, then detaches and can be placed on the toilet and also becomes a stepping stool)..i also bought one that just goes directly on the toilet...he screamed bloody murder with that one...yikes!! have to continue trying..i really do..but im really lazy too!! hahahah

janine: nice to see u and good to hear C is doing good :) i recall how K would NOT want anything his age either..give him this fun toy and he''d get bored with it in a minute or two..give him the tv remote and he''d sit there analyzing it forever!

Burk:
7.gif
ur comment about T walking to the door and waiting for daddy made me tear up!! and congrats on ur brother graduating!

TGal: oh my goodness!! LOVE that photo!!! priceless..she''s such a cutie!! and sorry to hear about the biting aversion
7.gif
do they give u any suggestions on how to get over that?

in K news...he learned to pick his nose
23.gif
23.gif
23.gif
..luckily he does it rarely and i REALLY hope he forgets about it soon!! eeck..not something i want him to pick up/learn how to do constantly!!

he''s also been saying TONS and TONS of words/sentences (in both english and arabic!)..its hilarious...i''ve been reading him the "Three little pigs" book the past few nights, and today he comes out RUNNING out of his room with book in hand and screaming "PUFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF" "PUFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF" and then "DOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWN"...and im like wat the heck is he on about!! then i realized he was copying me when i say "he huffed and he puffed and the house went down"..ahahahah!!!

JANINE, I know how you feel. I feel the same way. A bit out of place in the baby thread among the newborns and missing all the older mommies! Sounds like C is doing well! Every stage gets better! I love it!

TGAL, what an adorable pic of Amelia!

MSB, wow, can''t believe K is 2 already! He''s adorable! The cupcakes and favors look wonderful!

I miss you all!

D is doing well. He has two bottom teeth, is getting more verbal everyday, and quite talented with his hands. Everything goes into his mouth or tossed onto the floor. He loves to stand. His legs are strong! Still doesn''t like rolling over. I know he can do it but has no interest in it. He loves being horizontal, tummy up and head titled back, looking around at things upside down. He''s sleeping okay, most nights still waking up a few times. I hope he starts sleeping better! I can''t believe he''s almost 8 months!

tgal- that picture of Amelia is so darn cute.

msb-the party looks so fun and that last picture of K is priceless

snlee-I''m glad you popped in over here too and please do come over and update us.

tacori-glad you are doing better today

tgal-how did Amelia''s OT appt go?

burk-do you have much school left? i just found out they added two days for the schools here as make-up snow days. we have to push our move back because of it. I''m sure I could probably let my oldest miss b/c let''s face it, nothing is going to be accomplished on those days but one day is the class party and the other is a field day that I don''t want her to miss, especially since we''re moving and she won''t be seeing any of the kids again
40.gif

not much in Jake news. still only doing the drunk walk for a few steps then hits all fours and crawls. he''s got 2 teeth poking through, one top and one bottom, so the other two will be close behind. This morning he went to my pantry, selected a box of cereal (i keep them on the lowest shelf), dragged it across the floor to my hubby who was sitting at our kitchen table and handed it to him and then signed "more?" Of course out of 4-5 different types of cereal he chose the honey nut cheerios so we didn''t give him any. i felt so bad b/c he worked so hard to select the right box and get it to a grown up and then asked so nicely. It was so cute though and I did give him another baby appropriate kind.

msb great pics!! little K is turning into such a handsome little man! how''s the cupcake business going? yeah, we have it narrowed down to 2 preschools and we should be making a decision, but nothing yet.

qt i hope M''s sleep gets back on track. she''s going to have a full set of teeth soon!!

jas12 B had his last appt at the burn center today!!! the doc said he was doing really well and everything was healing perfectly so there was no need to go back. i''m doing ok, just super nauseous and tired, but i guess that''s to be expected.

burk awww, that''s so cute but so sad that T looks for daddy at the door. she is such a character!! i absolutely love your T stories! i am very excited for you for your next cycle or so. you must be so excited to TTC...heck i know i am excited for you!! sounds like a busy weekend for sure, i hope it''s a great one!

tacori when in june will you be in sf? i would love to go to a GTG, even if T won''t be there.

tgal why is it that every time i read your posts about amelia, i crack up so hard?!?!? i hope her OT appt went well. that''s a great pic of amelia. her hair is super light.

snlee sounds like D is doing well. but i hope he starts to sleep better.

mrsS awww, how cute that jake got that box of cereal out by himself. glad to hear that he did get some cereal and all that hard work wasn''t for nothing.

hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

msb, that is awesome that he is picking his nose, lol. I can''t wait until Amelia does. She doesn''t let me get near her nose and I can''t stand to see them loaded with wall to wall boogers! K always looks so happy in all his pics, so I LOVE the one where he looks freaked out, lol.

snlee, I can''t believe he''s 8 months either. Time really flies in PSbabyland, eh? He sounds active!

MrsS, too cute with Jake. Does he sign a lot? How many teeth total now does he have? I''d love to see that drunken walk!!!

Puffy, I''m glad I can entertain you. I figure if I don''t have all the cute/hysterical baby avs you guys put up, I should at least try and be amusing.

The OT appt went well. Amelia has made a lot of progress this week. She is biting...just not food.

OK, here are finally pics of the kid. Prepare for an onslaught.

Below, Amelia 11.5 months. I just like this one because it''s a side profile. I find it amusing that I am an asian woman with a kid who doesn''t have an asian profile. Don''t get me wrong, I love asian kids and their profile, but they just don''t look like this.

And lastly, a comparison between 11.5 months (a rare smiling pic) and 13 months in the same outfit. Only 1.5 months apartment, but is it me, or does the 13 month pic (on right) make her look like an annoyed teenager already? Hm.

OK, that will be it for me for awhile, if not the last of the Amelia pics period, since she is now over 1.

I love love

that last comparison shot of her....too funny!
She does look like an annoyed teenager....so mature!
And I love the picture of her w/ her pigtails -- so cute!
30.gif
30.gif

I don't think so pigtails are pathetic-- they are great!
And that shot of her catching up on her reading material is hilarious -- too cute.
You need to post more of her! I'm sad that this will be the last pictures of A.
How's about giving us some at her 15-month and 18-months instead of the monthly? :)

Oh...the bday hat is adorable!

ETA: and the sunglasses one is too cute.
I think I've used about very word I can think of to describes all these pictures.
Oh yes....she's beautiful
5.gif

ETA: J has that same fisher-price table too.
Seems like they both have simliar toys eh?

I was going through the other mom thread and found this. Whoa, time flies...all the babies look so different now! I had forgotten about the brown onesie club. So what kind of outfits do the girls have now?

You have to be kidding me. She's as tall as Amelia lili! What are you doing with the onesie...is it a thong now?

ETA, that toy is a loaner. I rarely buy anything for her. The blow toy they both had was a gift too. She still prefers to play with remote controls and knows how to turn on the TV now.
