At least one photo of my daughter by herself in her dress from head to toe. That''s not too much to ask. I never send there weren''t any good photos. I don''t expect every photo to be headed for Vogue magazine. The are very nice. Again though, not one photo of my daughter alone in her dress. That is just disheartening to say the least.

Miracle...well I know you are disappointed, but sweetie I think they are BEAUTIFUL. I booked a photographer hoping for the EXACT same types of shots.

As for the alone pictures of your daughther in her dress, I ditto the suggestion from Skippy, tell the photographer you are very disppointed that you don''t have any of your daughter alone and have them reshoot her alone.

I LOVE THEM! I would ask for a reshoot with dress shots. It seems to me this photographer is very artistic and creative and didn''t intentionally leave that out. I think they are beautiful though and your daughter looks amazing! I love the picture of you guys kissing!

Honestly, it's just not possible for the photographer to get every shot we could ever possibly want. Our photographer was great, but we don't have a single shot of our rings, nor do we have a single formal of us together with me in my full bridal gear with veil. I am still very happy with the photos overall. For proofs, your photos are amazing. Seriously, a lot of photographers don't do anywhere near this much work on their proofs. I think your photographer did a great job overall! Granted, s(he) had a beautiful wedding to work with.

You can easily get a full length of your daughter during a bridal portrait type session. But her dress looks gorgeous in the photos and I am impressed at how well the details in the dress show. Really, everything looked great! Thanks for sharing the photos with us!

I think the photos are stand-out amazing! I can really feel the emotion of the day...and your daughter looks so gorgeous.

Definitely understand the need to vent, so go ahead and do that, but when you come back these lovely photos will be waiting for you.

PS I agree with what facetfire said...I actually think it is pretty common for the MOB to be more critical of the photos than even the bride. I know this happened with my friend''s wedding...my friend really liked the photos, but her mom took a look at them and was like, "But where is _____" (she wanted photos of everyone in attendance at the wedding, which is tough) It really bothered my friend for a while, because her mom was super-critical (whereas I think you are hiding your feelings a bit more) but in the end she really loved the photos as well.

Unfortunately, the photog has since dropped off the face of the earth...but that is a story for another day.
