I''m going to have to tell my husband that. I was so hurt when he told me that I could stand to lose 10lbs last night. I gave im 2 beautiful children, and I''m 5''7 and 131 lbs fully clothed, not a BIG girl by any standards.....

You do not need to lose any weight! You and I are the exact same height (I don''t know your bone structure, mine is between small and medium) but our ideal weight is anywhere between 125-150lbs. So you do NOT need to lose weight at all!!

Yes, smack him with a cheesesteak girls, and better yet, make him EAT ONE. He thinks I'm a big girl because he's a little guy! My scrawny 5'8' husband can barely keep his weight above 150lbs because he doesn't enjoy eating at all.

AHA!! That's it.....he is scared you might get as big as him and then when he is mean you will be able to kick his A@# down the stairs like a slinky!

If you''re 5''7" and you lost 10 pounds, then your Body Mass Index would be right on the cusp of being underweight! Right now you are perfect, if not on the skinny side! You would have to gain 30 pounds for your BMI to be considered overweight. Of course, it''s just an estimate -- people''s body make-ups are different. If you gained 30 pounds of muscle and beat your husband to a pulp with one hand tied behind your back

, then you wouldn''t be overweight even though the calculation would say you were.

Speaking of my roommate with hair on her face, I probably should have tried to help her more. She exercised all the time and didn''t eat enough. I know that the white facial hair is a symptom of an eating disorder. I really hope she just misinterpreted what her doctor was saying instead of her doctor actually saying her weight was ok. We email occasionally, and as far as I know she has never had a serious relationship or fulfillment in other areas of her personal life, which is sad.

Freshman year I met my husband, and there was a period when he was dating somebody else (well, actually, he broke up with her right after he confessed to having a girlfriend after several days of us hanging out together all the time, but I didn''t know they broke up and didn''t see him for a while), and I was down in the dumps about it. As I''ve said, I lose my appetite when I''m down, so I ate, like, tiny bowls of apple sauce when we went to the dining hall for a few weeks. I just wasn''t hungry. I got down to about 117 at 5''5" (now I''m 135), and my roommate made a big fuss about it and implied I had an eating disorder, when she was 5''7" and about 110 and would count out 10 little pretzel sticks as a snack, lest she go crazy and eat 15 or 20 tiny pretzel sticks in one sitting! I guess she was projecting her disorder onto me. But instead of realizing that I should try to help her, I just found her bragging about her own lack of weight and comments about mine to be a turn-off. Maybe that is a defense mechanism to keep people from intervening.

Anyone else catch the Mara look-a-like on the new Folgers commercial they have going? In the ad the look-a-like does helicopter traffic reports for a living and relies on Folgers for the pick-me-up to do her job.

If anyone else has seen this would you agree with my assesment? I just saw it once after recently seeing her photo and though the actress was a dead ringer for her.

Here is a decent pic of me from vacation last month. I just had to blur out the relative and crop out the bf. It was in the morning so I was tired and my eyes are small, but I kind of like them like that. My skin tone is also a bit darker IRL.
