I love the Kristen split shank halo! In person, the prongs are so delicate, and the melee (which are on the larger side) blend into the diamond for one blingtastic look! I also like a split shank because it's like getting 2 rings in one!

The first is organic and the second is sculptural but both highlight the stone so prettily.

Oh how does one go about picking just one to love? This is why I hang out in colored stones, where there are multiple kinds of stones to choose from and one must really have multiple stones for a good representation of stones. So you therefore need multiple settings. I love a simple halo. I love the Bella. I love the MC2 rings, like petals surrounding the perfect flower...

Ahhh, this is an easy one to answer. My favorite setting is the Single Stone round version of yenny's gorgeous ring. My heart skips a beat when I see yenny's ring. My second favorite is the inspiration for a ring I'll be making custom, so I won't post a pic of that one.

I looked at this setting by Steven.....truly a beautiful piece but passed on it due to all the metal/ miligraining showing. Would be interesting to see if the stones can be set using the same technique as this one by Leon.

Have you seen the Rosebud from top view down? I think it's originally a Daniel K setting. Remember searching back through a lot of old threads to see one pricescoper has it.

I'm still stuck with the idea of haloing my 5ct..........DSS

Thanks for that link, Sparkles, don't think I've ever seen the "real" Rosebud with a round stone before. It's a beautiful setting.
