Going to bump this again and I have been looking for a reset for an OEC I recently purchased (eek!!) and my cousin got engaged with one of the most beautiful solitaires I have ever seen.

I loved this setting. It was sturdy, sleek, modern and classic. I called it my starburst setting. Loved it.





And this is my favorite soli setting in platinum. I never did set it, as I sold the diamond I had for it. But I've always loved the swoop of the arms.

Someone recently posted this setting in Rocky Talky, it’s a delicate and gracefully tapered, slightly knife edge four prong solitaire. It looks rounded and comfortable.

No, these are my own designs, made by David Klass Jewelry. I agree with you - getting baskets right if you want a certain look is very difficult. I drew and drew and redrew these a dozen times before they looked the way I wanted them to.

I don't have all my rings in the one place on PS, but the vast majority of my jewelry is in *this* thread - enjoy!

I love a dreamy solitaire and while I don't have (yet) one favorite solitaire setting I am a sucker for an 8 prong solitaire. For the right size stone those 8 prongs are swoonworthy. Elegant, sophisticated and oh so romantic.
