New WG juste un clou with diamonds. I’m so excited about this. This is to commemorate an achievement that happened two years ago, but the pandemic made it impossible to visit a boutique until now.

Second, Ecrou. This is a non-rhodium Ecrou I tried for size.
I absolutely *loved* this combo and ended up ordering a rhodiumized Ecrou. Thought very seriously about going with this one but in the end decided that the color differences in rhodium/non would bug me too much.

Wearing the new Clou and signature perlee that evening. Super comfy!

Tried the rose gold and diamond Ecrou, and I seriously thought about it. The price is heart stopping but the piece is truly unique and absolutely breathtaking in person. I wasn’t expecting to love it because I’m not a rose gold person, but WOW.

I left it and I’m glad I did because I did some damage at VCA, but will consider it in the future!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Tonks!! What a haul!! Both bracelets are so gorgeous and make such a statement. They look amazing together and they will look amazing alone if you decide to ever split them up. So happy for you.. glad your trip was a real
Cartier-fest. Enjoy them!

For those curious, I just wore my JUC plus my VCA signature perlee through airport security and did have issues. They set off the metal detectors. The TSA person said, “oh, she has those infinity bracelets” and asked if they came off. I was not about to take them off so I said no. They had me go through the body scanner instead.

Honestly not sure how people travel with large stacks.

Does anybody have any thoughts on the regular Love bangle versus the small?

I am in the market for my 15th anniversary in Sept, but there are no boutiques here in the UK apart from a small concession in Manchester & the boutique in London. This makes trying on tricky. I dearly love both, but my wrists aren't the skinniest & although I imagined I'd get the small, I'm wondering if the regular would look better? I would be getting a size 17 or 18 - haven't decided yet if I want it snug or a bit bigger.

My Cartier wrist size is an 18 and I tried the small Love last weekend. Didn’t like it, and part of the reason why is that it seemed to visually disappear. In the photos below it is stacked with a classic JUC and VCA signature Perlee (which I think is roughly the width of the Love but if not, someone please correct me).

I can’t do the regular Love b/c must be able to remove things.

Hope this helps! If you go back a page or so in the thread I posted a LOT of photos of me trying on various bracelets, and since we’re roughly the same wrist size perhaps it will be helpful. I don’t live near a boutique either, so I know how hard it can be!

This is fabulous information - thank you so much! Seeing the small next to the Perlee definitely puts the width into perspective. I have a couple of silver cuffs that are obviously snug to my wrist & I've always preferred the wider one as stand alone, the thinner one in a stack. But I am not planning to stack my Love & want it to be a stand alone bracelet to end all bracelets.

Hmmmmm........ Might have to definitely look more towards the original width.

I wonder if any PSers have both & can post me a comparison shot?

Just my two cents as I was contemplating the same issue last Christmas. I decided for a small Love because it is easier to put it on and off. Nothing would annoy me more than spending 45 minutes screwing the bracelet in. Secondly, I have small wrists (my bangle is 16) and the regular sized Love appeared too big, too flashy, and too much like a handcuff in its appearance. If you plan on stacking them, I would definitely suggest a smaller one. If you want the same width as the original one, I would do two small ones (perhaps of a different color). Lastly, I chose the small one because the original one was heavy for me. If you plan on wearing it constantly, without taking it off, this might or might not bother you. I know it would bother me and some stated they had to get used to it. I knew I would not get used to it unless I balance out the weight on the other hand with other bracelets. Lol.

If you like the width of the original and want to be able to take something on and off easily, you might consider the VCA signature Perlee. That’s what I ended up going with and I’m super happy with the decision. I read that the beaded edge protects it and keeps most scratches at bay, and (knock on wood), so far so good.

Hi @Ally T !

I tried on the thin and regular sized Love bangle. My wrist size is 18- and I felt the thin was underwhelming on me. I very much liked how the regular size Love looked on my wrist. I do stack the Love on a daily basis.
I also tried the VCA signature Perlee - I love VCA, but for some reason, it just didn't work for me.
I had never been much of a bracelet wearer- I found they annoyed me!
There was no adjustment period for me with wearing the Love- I don't even realize I'm wearing it.
I now stack three bangles- and wearing them doesn't bother me at all! :)

Thank you all for your input - it's really helpful to have 'real life' reviews!

The concession in Manchester near to me has both the small & the standard Love currently in stock, which is unusual. The Tiffany in Manchester (where my precious ring was shipped up to from London) also has the solid gold T2 hinged bangle in stock in all sizes, with & without diamonds, which Mr T prefers the look of.

At the weekend we are going to drive over to both stores & try them ALL on. Any excuse for a delicious lunch out - I'm easily pleased :lol-2:

If you mean this one from Tiffany, here’s a couple photos of that, too (I have been planning my bangle(s) for YEARS). Now, this one was a bit tight on me, but I was able to tell there’s a distinct difference in shape between these and Cartier bracelets. Tiffany is more round. Cartier is more flattish oval. So the shape of your arm will determine which is more comfortable. My arm is flatter so Cartier feels *much* better.

This also didn’t have as much presence as I had hoped.

I was recently at Tiffany, and I don't think they had this bracelet in the boutique. I'd love to see this bracelet and try it on!
I did purchase the T1 in WG- which I posted on the Tiffany post.

I really love the bracelet and the locking system- I'm happy with how it works with my stack. :)

@Tonks congratulations!! What a stunning stack you have going on there. The diamond JUC blings it up just enough. Love the Ecrou :) and the JUC works really well with it. Looks so fabulous all together. And you have the alternating pave and onyx that can mix it up too. Awesome haul. You and DH look great together. Post more combos and pics whenever you feel like.
@Tonks, so weird you were just in Vegas. Too bad we didn’t know. I was there Tues-Friday. We could have met up.

I’m very lucky to have a few beautiful Cartier pieces, all in rose gold.

Love that diamond JUC pendant. I’ve wanted that for a number of years but never pulled the trigger. Congratulations on that and your other lovely pieces.

Finally, I tried a small Love, because it seemed sacrilege to be in Cartier and not. (Small b/c I need to be able to remove jewelry to lift weights).

It is not for me. It is a beautiful bracelet but the feminist in me cannot get past the symbolism of a chastity belt.

Wow lots of Cartier activity recently! Let me share something weird and fun. I tried on these super funny and odd hoop earrings at Cartier and I found them very appealing. It’s part of the Panthere collection. But you know what they looked like to me? A couple of cute little sparkly worms. Is that hilarious or what? I really liked them.

Just a handful more pics to add to LLJsmom's earlier ::)

Orchid ring - last one available!! They've phased this whole collection out ;(
Size 3.75 for anyone tempted. Apparently can't be sized, unfortunately!

Panthere. Such a grand and majestic piece. Just perfect for all those galas and operas and red carpet events that I've never attended.

That Orchid line is stunning. Why on earth would they discontinue it? I seem to remember seeing Orchid pave studs on a celebrity in the not too distant past—maybe Meghan Markle? Anyway, they were gorgeous. It seems to me they would have been a suitable rival for pave Alhambra pieces if Cartier were so inclined.

I don’t know!! The SA suggested that maybe they were going to revamp the line - vs. totally obliterate it. Maybe… One can hope!

What are your thoughts on the thin Love vs the regular Love?

Here's a pic of me wearing both versions. I don't have them anymore. I'd say though I prefer the regular. The thin was not substantial enough. BUT the opening and closing mechanism made it more wearable. I couldn't stand having the Love on 24/7 and every time I put it on and took it off, it was a hassle. So as much as love(d) the Love, I got rid of it.

Would you be wearing yours 24/7?

Oh, mine were both size 16. They were a tad big for me (I have children's wrists), but I didn't mind. My pave Love is also a size 16. 15 fits just right but I don't like having my bracelets fit too snugly.

Thanks lovely! I really like this look! I was leaning more towards the thin, but a few people have told me they're great in a stack but flimsy alone, so it's off the table.

I'm now back to the regular Love versus the Tiffany T2. Yes, it would be for constant wear, which is why I don't want any diamonds in this piece, as I'd get twitchy about cleaning them!

I wouldn't recommend the pave for wearing 24/7 either. I'd be freaked out about losing the tiny melee.

I have a thin Love and would definitely not describe it as "flimsy." The thickness is the same as the regular Love. The closure is sturdy to me. Actually, sturdier than the regular Love given that the regular Love often has issues with screws (they do unscrew a lot) and people end up losing the bracelet. Even on resale sites I often see people selling just one half of the bracelet. It does not happen to everyone but it does happen. I have been wearing my small one since Christmas and there is not a single thing that is flimsy about it. And I owned both, sold the regular one.
