I’ve been eyeing the Juste for a while now but my sweet husband surprised me by taking me this weekend. We were trying to decide between the Love and the Juste but once I tried the Juste on, we both agreed it was me! (The flowers were a gift from Cartier too).

Yep, absolutely perfect on you!

Not mine, but trying on watches for the wishlist…

For context, I have large wrists and wear 18cm Love bangle

New rose gold + diamond bezel Balon Bleu, size 33 - which was the perfect size!

so pretty! BUT I find their RG very coppery and less flattering than Tiffany’s alloy to be honest. Granted my skin looks particular pale and pink in the store lighting…

Stainless steel versions…I like the plain stainless steel best. I hoped they had the 2-tone rose gold and stainless steel, or the rose gold with the brown leather strap, but they didn’t…so they gave me a catalogue!

Panthere in Large - I really fell in love! I tried on the Tank as well but didn’t like it well enough to take pics

Gorgeous  This ring just never gets old. I love mine as much as I did when I first got it. I wear it the same way that you do, onyx facing outward! Only mine’s sized for my second finger rather than ring. ❤️

Hey folks!!

Copying this over from Preloved.

PSA: Get branded pieces you purchase preloved reliably vetted without delay!!

I trawl the Reddit replica forum occasionally and it's pretty terrifying. These replica manufacturers will fake everything. The pieces themselves, of course, but also packaging, certificates of authenticity, purchase receipts, service receipts, valuations for insurance... And the "good" replica manufacturers reuse serials from corresponding real pieces. Same design, same size, same colour, same gemstones... Same serial, reused multiple times. So you can't trust your SA running a serial number for you either.

The only ways to establish authenticity without any shred of doubt are to
A) Buy directly from a brand's boutique or website yourself, or
B) Buy from someone you know personally - who can trace the chain of purchase back to a direct boutique/website purchase.
Alternatively, having a piece serviced by the brand is a second-best stand-in: The brand workshops know their pieces and will only service authentic specimens. This must be servicing that you pay for, though, the free in-store look-over and polish tells you nothing!

There are fakes on PS and other fora. There are fakes on established reseller sites. Reputable IG personalities have fakes. There are lots of honest resellers! But fakes are everywhere. Be careful, PSers!!

I thought I posted this watch. I am so in love!! It’s a 38mm. It‘s very vintage looking. I love it. A896F069-2293-4FC2-87B6-0B29AA12A4B5.jpeg 85EDAC8A-5B5A-4378-90AD-A29B785001F0.jpeg 85EDAC8A-5B5A-4378-90AD-A29B785001F0.jpeg

Hi @yssie

I know I'm going back many years (!!!), and you have sold this bracelet-But...
I was wondering what your thoughts are on the Cartier Trinity bangle.

There isn't much written on PS about it.

I've haven't seen many photos of it being worn - tons of Love/JUC - but not so much the Trintiy bangle. I was thinking of maybe using it with stacking the Love/JUC.

Thank you!

Nope not sold!! I did think about rehoming it once, but then I came to my senses

This one’s a bucket list piece for me. I love that I have it, and I really enjoy taking it out to look at and admire (I do this fairly frequently LOL), and I wear it occasionally. But I only wear it occasionally. Couple reasons for that -
1. The bangles are totally round. Not oval. So they protrude a lot more - they don’t conform to the wrist or lower forearm shape the way oval bangles do. If that makes any sense?
And a followup to #1 - the "rolling" action that's so lovely and buttery in the rings is equally efficient and buttery in the bangles... But most people's forearms are pretty fleshy, and a trio of reasonably heavy bangles very-efficiently rolling up one's forearm creates forearm muffin like I've never before experienced  When I wear it I stack a skinny diamond bangle on top (closer to elbow) to mask the forearm muffin. Works great.
2. The clanging! OMG. The three bangles clink and clang and click and jingle and jangle and… I don’t know why or how but they’re seriously *so* much louder than any of my other bangles stacked (which do also move against each other). My Trinity is the original with thicker (heavier) bangles - I wonder if the lighter Trinity is less loud?

So I guess my biggest question would be what your noisy arm tolerance is like

In all seriousness though. I don't know how visually appealing and comfy the bangle shape difference would be IRL. But if you love the idea it doesn't hurt to try on!

Amazingly informative post for me!!!
The round shape/ moving up and down the arm/ and clinking is a concern-I saw a pre-loved one at a reputable jewelry store - It is the medium sized bangle. I think I will wait until I can get to a Cartier store.

I love the "noisy arm tolerance" !!!

"The clanging". Yes, I live this experience with my Tiffany-Gehry bangles. Both charming and annoying. :saint:

A couple Cartier purchases yesterday!

New WG juste un clou with diamonds. I’m so excited about this. This is to commemorate an achievement that happened two years ago, but the pandemic made it impossible to visit a boutique until now.

Second, Ecrou. This is a non-rhodium Ecrou I tried for size.
I absolutely *loved* this combo and ended up ordering a rhodiumized Ecrou. Thought very seriously about going with this one but in the end decided that the color differences in rhodium/non would bug me too much.

Wearing the new Clou and signature perlee that evening. Super comfy!

Tried the rose gold and diamond Ecrou, and I seriously thought about it. The price is heart stopping but the piece is truly unique and absolutely breathtaking in person. I wasn’t expecting to love it because I’m not a rose gold person, but WOW.

I left it and I’m glad I did because I did some damage at VCA, but will consider it in the future!

Ah! I was just thinking in the other thread that I didn’t recall your JUC  Congratulations on your achievement and very happy belated celebration

I like the plain Ecrou better too. And “yes” to having it plated so it matches everything else you’ve got going on! It’ll be worth the wait. And another “yes” to leaving the RG behind, I like your Alhambra much more, independently and in your stack!

Thank you so very much. And I’m so glad you like the choice for the Alhambra over the rose Ecrou!

The Cartier SA that I met was just amazing about celebrating my achievement. Champagne, a coffee table book, two travel pouches, and spent AGES with me. Truly incredible—and I went to two Cartier stores in Vegas and this SA only sold me the JUC (Ecrou at the other). While not a small purchase, it is not huge for Cartier by any means, so I was really impressed by that level of customer service.

It was a VERY big day yesterday. I know it seems crazy to type it all out but we had planned on the JUC purchase literally two years ago and set aside the $, so while it all technically took place on one day, in financial planning terms, it did not.

I suspect that my husband will be wrapping the Ecrou and onyx/pave Alhambra for anniversary and birthday later this year and that is just fine with me!

I would definitely recommend the Miami Design District boutique- fantastic service and there are some gorgeous high jewelry pieces to ogle!

The area is beautiful to walk around with sculptures/art installations , cafes and boutiques- there’s a huge VCA and Tiffany's nearby.

I loved the JUC in the regular size as well- I think that’s next on my list :)

Y’all ready for a smorgasbord of Cartier photos?
These are all things I tried and did not purchase. It was a wonderful and educational experience!

D22FB125-AD05-4C38-B280-7A79AE68C728.jpeg
First up, medium Clash in white gold. I thought I would love love love this piece. And if I were after it to wear alone I would. It has movement and is truly fascinating and beautifully made. I love the almost punk aesthetic. I did try it in the rose/yellow gold but it is truly a unique color and did not suit my pinkish skin tone so I didn’t even take a photo.
CDC28B4B-4CEA-4DD0-94A9-06C60783B7B7.png
Perspective photo of medium Clash.
What I found with it with sizing is that the size I liked was an 18. Nice movement and feel on my arm. 17 was just a little too close. However, 18 overlapped my VCA signature perlee in a way that I would not have been comfortable with. And 17 was not going to be comfortable.

18 in other Cartier is a perfect fit with VCA large, btw (I’m talking JUC and Ecrou).

Nothing replaces seeing things IRL. The Clash is so cool and edgy but I agree, needs to be a solo piece.

Next, JUC in yellow gold!
AE9F8AC7-86D7-433C-AF01-897CC5963C2E.jpeg
This is absolutely gorgeous. I don’t wear much yellow gold and was honestly surprised how much I liked it.

E755FBF1-0D2F-4622-B878-F883F5E32A9B.jpeg

Tried it stacked with the JUC I ended up purchasing. And I really like that look and wonder if perhaps it might be somewhere in my future. Though this photo does make the yellow gold look harsher with my skin tone. Darn that pink undertone….

My JUC. White gold with diamonds. Love it!

Stacked with my signature perlee. I know this is not a traditional pairing, but I am not a traditional person.

Finally, I tried a small Love, because it seemed sacrilege to be in Cartier and not. (Small b/c I need to be able to remove jewelry to lift weights).

It is not for me. It is a beautiful bracelet but the feminist in me cannot get past the symbolism of a chastity belt.
