Now for some nature shots. All of these photos I posted were taken downtown Chicago (including the flower shots).

Some of these were taken with a Nikon D300 and some with the D700. Not sure what lens he is using... he upgrades camera equipment so often I can''t keep track!

Sparks shooting out of a camp fire. I like to play with light.

Thank you Portia! I spend a lot of time playing with light--can really become or look like anything.

I love your hubby's bird shot--one of my all time favorites-really. There is something so beautiful and haunting about it--an amazing shot!

I totally agree about light changing the look of something. I would have never guessed your photo was campfire sparks!

LOL! You''d never believe that bird photo was taken on a super crappy, overcast day on the Chicago River and all these dirty-looking birds were swooping down over the river (and my DH). I was outside on our patio thinking my husband is crazy and wasting his time. haha... I''ll never doubt his ''eye'' and creative ability again!

I have some great pics from my honeymoon in Cabo...
This is the first thing we saw when we walked into our room at the Hilton

This is the back-side view from our room. It looked out into the desert and mountains, and this moon scape was fantastic.

Our last day there it started to storm... The waves were crashing up over the rocks.

One more storm pic. (I tried these in B&W... thought they looked cool)Thanks for looking!

Thank you! Your fireworks pic is absolutely amazing!

These are pretty amateur compared to the amazing shots here...but I thought I''d share some novice pics. :)
