Hi All, would you please be so kind as to show me your 2+ carats on finger sizes 4-5?? I am trying to get an idea of the coverage I should expect?? I wear a 4.25-4.5 ring (depends on swelling, etc)...I am in the process of searching for the perfect cushion diamond in the 2.25-2.75 range, and am trying to gain some perspective...Thanks!!

I wear a 2.12 ct cushion on a 4.25 finger, this is best shot of finger coverage I can find at the moment. I tried to take some new ones tonight but couldn''t find the cable to upload them. Whoops!

here's mine - lets see if this works. 2.23ct modern cushion ratio around 1.04 (looks pretty square) ring size 4.25

Truluv, I don''t have the dimensions off hand although it is a Daussi, hence the stone is more shallow than most cushions you come across. I noticed you posted another thread re: J stones, mine was appraised as an I although sometimes I think it behaves more like a J. I wanted a bigger stone and was willing to sacrifice on color. I don''t regret my decision and get nothing but compliments, here are some better pics of finger coverage!

I have started a thread because literally none of the cell phone pictures I have do it justice and the apprisal pics just look "cold" to me. We are having our professional pics taken in the next month or so, so I am going to ask the photographer to take some good pics of it.

It is a simple 2.29 round brilliant with .98 cts of micro pave. The setting is a three sided micro pave setting by Cellini in Manhattan.

That should have said haven''t. I dont'' like any of the picutres that I have taken I am going to wait until professional ones come so that I can get some good shots, but here is another one I took at the beach last weekend in the meantime.

Ojodeazul, can I ask for your help? I''m about to buy a 2.47 ct. round brilliant with a Verragio halo setting similar to yours for my wonderful fiance. She has a size 4.5 finger. I feel that most of the pictures taken on the forum are taken very close to the finger and it''s difficult to get a real-world perspective of the size of the ring.
How do you feel about the size of the ring on your finger? Do you like the finger coverage? I''m hoping to get her something that she''ll never want to upgrade.
 
@soontomarry2 - There is a picture on this forum of my ring from fairly far away and it looks huge (in my opinion). I have to say, if I had seen the finished product before, I may have gone a little smaller (because of the halo). The one I tried on in the store was over 4 carats and I thought it looked big, my 2.29 I think looks large on my finger. I have big knuckles and withing them my ring size would probably be closer to a 4.25. I am about 5''3" 115 so I am not a big person, the two carats looks big enough that I have no intersest in really ever upgrading.

I think taht the 2.67 will be a perfect size for the girlfriend with the halo, my stone cover well over half width and half length of my finger..
