HI:

Does anybody grow snap dragons? Sweet peas??? Gosh I love (and miss) them!

cheers--Sharon

Male and female Downy Woodpeckers, male and female Cardinals, both beautiful but the female is so stunning IMO! And a Pileated Woodpecker! Had to zoom in so not to spook the Pileated Woodpecker, hope to get another chance at better pics!VideoCapture_20240601-105426.jpg20240601_185442.jpg20240601_185611.jpg

Yes, that is definitely a Red-Bellied Woodpecker! Looks like a female.

I don't have pictures but I got stalked by a hummingbird in the back yard this morning....lol it was a baby (soooo tiny!) but definitely a bird! I was doing a bit of yard work before work this a.m. and this guy was right at my eye height. I have very heavy blooms on all kinds of things this year, and interestingly enough I've never seen them in my back yard before. Green iridescent is what I could make out, (and the fast movements of course)

They’re so cute. Depending on where you live you can look at the hummingbird maps to see which kind might be in your area and then see if you can identify it.

My rosemary is blooming. Typically it doesn't survive the winter here, and I have to plant it every year. This time it survived the winter, and now it's blooming. I had no idea that it bloomed!

I have a massive rosemary bush, and I have never seen it blooming.
I love it in pork and poultry dishes!

I'm seeing mostly male hummingbirds so far this year, very few females. I wonder if they are still sitting on eggs?
