Storm posted many prayers for Nan''s Angello when he was undergoing heart surgery, but the prayer that most touched my heart was posted on August 28, 2005.

Now Storm and W2B might appreciate the beauty of his prayer.

I am very much relieved to hear that lovely future Mrs surgery went well.

Remeber that she is in good hands right now. I work in Pre-op, so I know all to well how hard it is to be on the other side, waiting ... and ... worrying. Wishing you could help, wishing you could do something instead of just sitting.

She had a big surgery to entitle her to a 5 day stay, that means that it will be very important for you to remember to take care of yourself. That means that you do need to eat something other than from the vending machine, you need to get some sleep ... and hunched over in the chair next to her bed doesn''t count

... She will need you when she is awake, and she will definately need you when she is discharged and goes home. You need to be healthy to care for her, and the Nurses and Doctors will care for her when you need to take care of yourself. (I know, it is a hard thing to do ... to pull yourself away, when all you want is to be with her 24/7!)

May her post-op recovery continue and at healing and healthy pace with minimal discomfort. My continued thoughts and prayers to you both.

Keep us updated with her progress, we are here if you need an extra hug!

She was real tired tonight its been a long day.
They had her up and walking 4 times
Which is good.
she didnt get a lot of sleep last night, said she slept too long yesterday so wasnt tired.

Indeed it is! And as a friend told my mother when she had similar surgery: it hurts, but each day is BETTER. I hope your fiancée will get through this with each day followed by a better day.
