Your diamond looks bloody enormous.. wayy bigger than 1.77!!

Thanks, SDL. I think what makes it look larger are the trillions on either side and the fact that the setting narrows as it reaches the stones.

The actual mm measurement of the princess is 6.75 x 6.85

Suzyqz, your ring is so pretty, I like how the diamond is set in its "diamond" shape instead of square, very unique! It makes the diamond look HUGE also!!!


Nitrocl--Congrats on your proposal! I love the pink with it!!! What kind of stones are those?? VERY pretty. I have yet to see an AGS0 in a setting. It looks very sparkley. Was it hard to find an AGS0?

The AGS-0 wasn''t really hard to find as GOG has them listed on the website in a search engine. I just picked the stones I wanted to look at then went to the store in person. The side stones are rubies.

That''s the beauty of an I, it looks super white!!! I know some of you PSers won''t belive this but my FSIL, my FI, and FBIL all compared my 3.38 I with her 0.8 D and none of them could tell a difference in color. I am not trying to start a fight or debate as I appreciate the colorlessness of a D and the varying degree of color sensitivity, but just a small anecdote from my experience.

I am not sure what you are asking since you say ours are simialr in weight and size but I don''t know my exact meaurements since the cert is in my parents safe, but I do know the ratio is 1:1 because I was crazy about having a perfect square.

Yeah mines square too as that was a concern and priority. Sorry I wasn''t specific, it''s late in the east coast!

But what I mean was the depth, table, etc., on the GIA or AGS report, but if you don''t have that info as it''s at your parents house that''s cool... I think my depth was 68.3 or 69.4, table 72, 8.36x8.29x5.66mm etc., etc., Just wondering for comparision reasons...

What kind of band do you wear or plan on wearing Diamonds are Hot??

I have no idea on percentages, it was an excellent GIA on the sparkliest ring I saw, I was scared of the color and just convinced myself not to buy paper or a Tiffany round (mostly because I wanted a nice square though), but I concede that yours does look much larger in your picture. As far as a band I am undecided because I originally had the stone in a custom made enterinty band with which I was just going to wear as a wedding ring, so now that I put it in the plain band I just personally love the look of one ring one big diamond, and actually I thought my deciding factor would be how often people ask "when is the wedding?" but all I have gotten so far is "how long have you been married?" and I am only 23!

Thanks for getting back to me! I would have asked you "When''s the wedding" not how long have you been married But I understand (I think) about you not wanting to wear a band that''ll take away from the gorgeous princess. Sometimes a ring just has to be solo to strut it''s stuff!!

Thank you! the ring was custom made and design by my now husband i designed the eternity band to match. By setting the PC stones star style like my pendents in my engagement ring. I just wish i had a better pic i will try to get a better one later.
