Dear Gurus

I have been reading this forum for a while now and after learning all that I can have managed to select 3 diamonds which I believe is good value for my budget of <$7000:

1. 1.04 Carat I-VS1 Ideal Cut Round Diamond $6310

2. 1.06 Carat I-VS1 Excellent Cut Round Diamond $6110

3. 1.06 Carat J-SI1 Excellent Cut Round Diamond $4580

Can I do better than these diamonds? Or are they right for their prices?

I also think that number 3 is better value for money. Am I wrong?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

ps I also want to use the following setting:

I personally would rather have higher color than such high clarity. An eyeclean SI1 is more than fine, and you won't be able to tell the difference between that and the VS.

http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/0.93-carat-e-color-si1-clarity-ideal-cut-sku-246202 This is very nice. Will look just like a one carat diamond once set. And it is very budget friendly.

Also, please put the table, depth, crown and pavillion measurements for any GIA EX/EX stone in the HCA Tool here: https://www.pricescope.com/tools/hca

Anything under 3, get an idealscope image from JA. Discard anything over 3.

You do not need to do it for AGS 0's as HCA trumps HCA. But do get an idealscope image.
