the best way to choose an oval diamond is really to view it yourself. but you don't have the luxury of doing that online. Here's my advice to you. Shortlist a couple of diamonds from JA and get the inhouse gemologist to review it. I see that you had already done it this way and that's good. But there seems to be no mention of another common phenomenon found in ovals by the review. (though gpsy had highlighted it earlier)

In ovals, there is actually the bow tie effect in which you need to take note of. Pictures by themselves alone cannot tell you everything about it. you might want to clarify this with the gemologists at JA to see if this is a problem.
