I am trying to decide between these two stones. What is more important, color or clarity? There is about $1700 in price difference between the two.

I think for these two stones, the shape is what sticks out the most. Do you like a more squared look or a rounder look? Also, are there videos? Or ASET images?

I'm not a huge fan of the first stone because it looks uneven to me. The second one has more promise (to me). But I agree a video would be helpful along with an ASET image.

I like the faceting on the 2nd stone but prefer the shape of the 1st.

I don't know anything about ideal proportions for cushions, but the top stone looks way more yellow to me than the bottom. Having said that, the bottom one's got those black crystals which I'm guessing will be easier to see at 3+ ct. In terms of overall look I prefer the bottom.

Any possibility of ASET images? Or videos? I like the first better but really need an ASET image (and/or video).

Not the right size, color or clarity but showing what an AV cushion looks like. When I think cushions I think that big chunky faceting as it's my favorite. The G you linked is more of a crushed ice look. No right or wrong, just making you aware of the differences.

You may ask @Rhino if he has anything in the works in your criteria and budget.

Another unique style is BGD's spin on cushions. The shape you like but with round H&A faceting.

I love the Brian Gavin it is gorgeous. I know nothing about them, I am new on here but see the name. The ”j” color would be my only concern. I am color sensitive, I know some love the I & J but I am afraid it would bother me.

The 2nd one is just a more elegant looking stone to me.
Also, I would rather have E color (which will be dynamite in that cushion!) in a VS, than pay for IF with G.
So #2 wins for me hands down, if it’s a choice between these 2.
