Playing with FIRE! (A LOT of pics!!!!)

Heya everyone! Took a whole bunch of fire pics today....was my first time trying!
Here's a bit of eye candy for y'all!
(Ok, a LOT!)


We've nicknamed the stone 'The Retina Burner'! Hehe! It's going to be set soon, so maybe a bit more fun before that time....I'll try to get closer shots and add them here over the weekend

Heya thanks! I was doing it for ages....waiting for the sun to come out between clouds all day
I've taken my pics with two cameras. My more 'pro one' (a Canon PowerShot Pro 1) and my everyday use camera (a Canon PowerShot S3 IS). I think most of these ones were taking with the S3 IS!

I like that one too, it's got more pastel colors....hehe!

Great camera eh!

Nope, I used manual, and then turned on the super macro mode....or the macro mode depending on the distance. Then I set it in the sun and did the focus thing as soon as I saw the glare. From there I would move slightly up or down or to the side to capture the different ends of the spectrum!

That diamond is kicking HOT HOT.
I can never capture the fire in my ring. I''d be happy if I can get one twinkle.
