Platinum Tiffany setting - worth how much?

I have a genuine platinum Tiffany setting ring.
The diamond (1.22 ct) was removed and remounted in a different setting.
Does anyone know how much it is likely to be worth?
Any help would be appreciated.

Not much. Resale on settings is pretty low. How much was it originally? I'd say 20-40%, but it might be different for big names.

There have been auctions on ebay - the name alone will get you far more than an unbranded setting. How much - don't know. You might want to contact OakGem or other sellers of preowned Tiffany jewelry to get an idea of what they might give you for the mounting.

The tiffany name will help with resell. however you need some pretty serious proof it actually is tiffany's. There are many good fakes out there and the trademark has been copied into many of them. I would look on ebay to see what they settings are selling for. I would also check with some co-signments shops to see what they would list it for.
