I think this one does not meet your color and clarity criteria, but it does fit your budget and also appears to be an original antique.

Major bling factor with this one too.

I'm pretty partial to this one (shh, don't let my precious Grace hear that!)

Yenny, I thought of yours when I saw this one. But yours is MUCH prettier!!!

I think it is going to be really hard to find the color and size within the budget mentioned. It is hard to find higher color antique stones, period.

Aww, thanks DS! I actually like my stone a lot better than this one too! I agree that Phoenix is going to have to be patient to meet her criteria on this one (or up the budget).

Ann, beautiful ring, thanks for posting it. 9ct? I don't think I'd *ever* get DSS then!

LOVE your ring Yenny. DS and Yenny, I don't know yet what's gonna happen. My two most immediate projects are to reset Holly and get my studs. Time and patience are what I have plenty of and if I manage to get this 6-7ct antique, of course I'll be over the moon - if not then not {shrug}, it's not going to be the end of the world, lol!

I saw that ring and though of you too, Phoenix - but the center stone is less than 4 ct. Too small!

That's the perfect attitude Phoenix, good for you! You know that when you're least expecting it, a honker of an antique stone will probably drop into your lap!!

Phoenix, I realize these are much lower in color than you'd prefer, but I wanted to share them anyway. They are currently 25% off.

$71k (regularly $95k)
J, SI1, 5.71cts
Platinum & diamond setting
http://www.ross-simons.com/products/771780.html

$105k (regularly $140k)
M, VS1, 7.25cts
Platinum & diamond setting
http://www.ross-simons.com/products/797104.html

I went to Ross Simons...a high end jewelry store in Atlanta and saw that first stone 5.71c. It is as dark as night...really bad.
The setting was delicate and lovely. Couldn't believe they purchased that estate stone though...not good at all...I was shocked. It looked like the night sky with a few mini pin point stars...even in their beefed up lighting....LOL! Don't know about the other one.
