Do you own this OMC?
Yes, dirt, grease an'' all. We bought it in Ouro Preto in 2003. By the way - sorry for the highjack - if anyone needs an excuse to go on a gem buying trip, Ouro Preto is worth a trip to Brazil on its own. And you don''t need to buy anything; the town itself is a gem of the Portuguese Baroque.

A pink topaz is worth any number of car doors.
And if anyone does come down, let me know beforehand for a get together and I''ll be glad to act as ciccerone

Wow, that thing is huge!!
c''mon earth, rotate faster! I have a feeling the pictures aren''t really showing the color of your stone. It''s a great shape; I''m so glad you love it!

Yes you are correct. In the pictures it looks like a very light violet but it is a nice soft pink.

Okay Day time pics are in!

What you are seeing in the centre of the stone is the yellow tac (blue tak) stuff peeking through.

next time I get a new stone I am never touching it! I want to get tweezers. I get to many prints on it and they don''t look as good!

Beautiful! Love the color and flashes. Go ahead and enjoy playing with your stones. It''s easy to clean them.
