pictures of bgd dream band in larger point sizes?

I love the slightly more individual/scalloped look of the bgd dream band as well as the white flash or other vendor u prong look. like them each for different reasons. the dream I love for the scallops an dthe u prong for the side view. I can't decide between the two! also still deciding between half eternity and full eternity. I have seen beautiful u-prongs in 10 and 15 point size on here, but haven't been able to find any larger point size dream bands. is there a reason for that? does anyone have pictures of larger point sizes?

also does anyone know if other vendors have been able to replicate the dream band look at a lower cost?- the prongs are slightly pinched in or something in a way that makes the diamond appear more individual.

I'm curious to know what pointer size larger than 10-15 pointers you're thinking of?

Personally I feel like in a typical U prong like the WF one you referenced, is nicer with a larger stone, for the same reason you mentioned that you can see more that just the diamond table and it creates a more 3D scintillation effect.

Aside from that, and this is just my personal opinion— I really don't care for the closed setting at all such as the dream band, unless it's done in very small diamonds and you wear more than one band stacked.

Have you looked into a basket setting with airline such as the classic Tiffany setting? I feel like that's a good combo for people who like lower profile eternities, without too much metal but allows the diamonds to be viewed at different angles.

I am actually waiting for my own eternity with 33-35 pointers to be complete—I chose my suite of diamonds with my jeweler last week, and I opted for a modified U prong.

The tiffiany you posted is indeed really nice! I hadnt given that thought. Im aure your very large point size ring will be absolutely stunning! For the dream or u prong i actually was referring to 10 or 15 pointers as the large - what i can afford. I havent seen the dream at 10 or 15 pointers here that i can remember.

Ahhhh I'm sorry! I misunderstood! There actually is a thread here called show me your eternities (or something like that). Do a search for it! I'm pretty sure someone has exactly what you're looking for! That thread was uber helpful to me when I was deciding what to choose!

Aside from that, just another tip I have, is—take your finger size, and determine how many 10-15 point stones it will take to encompass your entire finger and multiply that so you can figure out what the total ring carat weight will be. Then you can take that number and do a google image search.

For example, I am a size 7.5, it takes 17 diamonds in a 0.33 point range to completely go around my finger—therefore :

17x0.33=5.61 TCW

If I search "5.61 carat round eternity band" a lot of images will come up!

Just noticed another thread you had posted with your ring size 7.75.

If you do 20 pointers
19-0.20/RD= 3.8 TCW

If you do 10 pointers:
23-0.10/RD= 2.3 TCW

So naturally 15 pointers will fall somewhere in the middle @ 3ish carats.
