Pear shaped diamond purchase

Hi all,

I have been scrounging the internet for a place to ask this question and feel that this must be the best community. Can anyone look at this diamond and tell me if it's a good buy?

the video doesn't make the diamond look very sparkly, but I'm not a pear expert either

I tend to agree it doesn’t look very sharp. There are many threads about searching for pears and ovals - it’s unfortunate that time isn’t on your side as it can take a while to find a really good one.

That big feather coming up from the rounded end could be bothersome in the diamondsby lauren stone...it shows a large opaque area at some angles.

Maybe. But, there is where I give a trusted vendor a lot of room. I trust DBL's eyes and ability to find rockstars in the 3rd-grade concert. So, to me, it worth pursuing and discussing. But, each person needs to make their own decision.
