#JOTW Peachy keen! 5 ct Mahenge garnet in rose gold

I tucked away the idea for setting something of mine in the future.

Jeff White listed this 5.05 carat Mahenge garnet a year or so ago, and I hemmed and hawed and then it disappeared, so I figured it had sold. However, it didn’t! I got a second chance recently and grabbed it. I have a few of these lighter garnets and love them all. Biggest got set first. Here she is in rose gold. I went with lab diamonds in the halo because it was still very pricey and I was trying to limit costs somewhat. DK did fine work, as always.
Niel says it looks like her ring with a sepia filter.
