Hello everyone, recently visiting Victor Canera's Site, I have come to see a million types of pave settings I am not familiar with. Im just curious if anyone had descriptions/ pictures to help me find the differences and one I am looking for, that would be great. There is: Brightcut, Brightcut with Millgrain, French Pave, Neo-French Pave, U-cut Shallow, U-cut Deep, U-cut Multi Row Pave, V-Cut, Micro Pave, and European Bead. Oh and I'm also interested in finding out what FULLCUT and SINGLE CUT pave diamonds are (the difference). Thanks everyone

I always thought LM's website had a pretty great explantation for beginners: https://leonmege.com/index.php/rules-of-engagement/resources/pave

However if you are looking into a vendor making you a ring I wouldn't dicatate pave details right away. I would ask what would look best with/ for your diamond and see what they say. ALso know that pave is an artform so just because someone can do pave doesnt mean they do it well. VC is wonderful at it so if he is your chosen vendor you will be in good hands.

+ one send the stone to the vendor and let them make the decision on the pave they think will most enhance the stone that is what you are paying them for - they have amazing eyes and artistry skills that we get in the way of trying to request things that at times may not work.
