Hi all,

My boyfriend and I just started looking at cushion cut diamonds and are hoping to purchase a stone in the next month or so. I am probably going to go with Steven Kirsch or Victor Canera for the setting and I was wondering if anyone has pictures of their halos by either of them with pave on the side of the halo and/or on the sides of the band. I don't want it to look too bulky and I'd love to see some examples to get an idea of what it will look like!

My original ering was a halo with a three-sided pave band. I don't recommend stones on the sides of the band because the stones wil rub on your wedding band and the ring and stones will be damaged over time.

I second hudson hawk's post.

If you plan to wear a wedding band next to the engagement rigng, you can't get 3 sided pave.

I think the poster might be talking about micropave where there is a honeycomb or snake skin type of pattern. Not a double halo.

OP for what it is worth I'm not a huge fan of the micropave with the honeycomb type of pattern for this style halo. I guess for me it is a bit too much. I perfer my rings to be a bit more timeless and elegant. Plus with pave on the side I'm more worried about it rubbing against my wedding band. I wear a spacer right now with my VC set but I only have a single row of pave on the shank and donut/ struts.

However I have seen both rings made my Sk and VC. Just ask them for pictures. I'm sure they have them.
