One other thing to consider, I believe paraiba tourmalines weren't even discovered until in the late 1980's, so an antique or vintage ring wouldn't have a PT (unless the original stone had been replaced since then).

One of the best ways I ever heard someone describe a high quality paraiba is that the color is so crazy neon it almost looks fake. Yours looks blue. Very nice, but not even close to paraiba.
