Over the knee boots...

I've never liked these kinds of boots but it doesn't have anything to do with the person...looking at the picture that Freke posted, I don't like them there either...they're just not my style (in the ONLY picture where I think they look OK is on the second row, 1st model.)

Having said that, I think on you they look like they "should" look. And the way you're wearing them doesn't say "trashy" at all, they go nicely with your outfit. So I don't think you have to worry about looking trashy at all.

I think they look fantastic on you. This style of boot looks trashy when they have a high heel and a short skirt like Pretty Woman.

The heel on this boot is perfect and the way you styled the outfit is exactly the way to wear them.

PLUS you are slim, young and gorgeous! Wear them while you can

Thank you braga, Yssie, movie zombie, Too Patient, Monnie, iLander, Laila, Naty, Smith, Sarah, Nyc2chigal, Sakuracherry, Chrono, Freke, CJ and charleston. I appreciate everyone's opinions and well being the impulsive person that I can sometimes be I wore them to work today...even though I thought last night that if I kept them I would only wear them out with dh. Nope, this AM it was freezing out and I thought hey, I feel like wearing the new boots. Mainly because of the PSers who responded yesterday saying it looked good. I took Gypsy's advice and wore them with confidence.

I got an overwhelming positive response from my work friends and colleagues whose ages range from the mid twenties to mid seventies so all in all I feel good about the choice to keep them. Thank you PSers for sharing your opinions.

Freke the worse OTK pic is most definitely Miley's. Ugh, what was she thinking? Don't they have fashion people to guide them? Or perhaps that was the look (trashy hooker) she was going for...

They are sexy. That's the question, do you want to be sexy?

Because they are. No matter what you wear them with, they will be sexy, and if you're comfortable with them, great. Rock it.

I am not comfortable with sexy things for myself, and would send them back asap. But I am very conservative, and I don't even show any kind of cleavage or skirt above the knee. I also never wear bikinis. I don't want people to pay any attention to me.

But when you wear those out, I know guys will look at you, no question. Nothing skanky about it, they're just sexy. If the attention is good, then rock on, but if it's uncomfortable for you, then back they go.

Just giving you a very honest assessment of my (meaningless) opinion.

iLander, your opinion is most definitely never meaningless and I appreciate you taking the time to post your thoughts. You are right, they can be sexy. I am a very conservative dresser in general so I think, as Yssie pointed out,with all the rest of my conservative attire I can wear these boots and not look like I am trying to get attention. Good or otherwise. I definitely have to keep the rest of my outfit low key when I wear these boots and then it seems to work.
