Any recommendations or input you may have would be appreciated. The diamond will be set in 18k yellow gold.

This Diamond has a small spread for a 1.40. Ratio is decent, but the black crystal on the table is not recommended for VS2 grade. In reality paying VS price for a SI diamond.

I'm pretty confused about what you are talking about here. It doesn't face up small for a 1.4 oval.
