This ring is breath taking! I am hoping to reset my original stone and found this forum in my research. This is one of the first posts I have opened and I have to say, you are a man after my own heart. I love the vintage, tacorish-y look. I love rose gold in combo with the platinum and I HEART anything that has little flourishes and extra touches. Gorgeous. I am sure any girl who opens the box with THIS in it will say yes... once she has the chance to catch her breath!

It was dark when I proposed so she barely got to see it until we got under some lighting. Probably for the best haha.

Yeah keeping the basket lower was one of the goals and ERD did a great job with it. The inspiration was the basket of the Tacori 2639 which she had seen in person and liked (but thought was a bit too tall).

Hey so regarding cleaning - she asked me if its ok to take it to any jeweler to clean or if it would need special care of some sort being a mix of different metals. Any thoughts? In assuming an annual cleaning is enough?

Any jeweler should be fine as far as the metals go. You'll want to make sure none of the melee are loose before putting in a professional ultrasonic.

As for frequency, I clean my rings at home (hot water, dish soap and baby toothbrush) weekly. I have them professionally cleaned a few times a year. Once a year would make me crazy! Lotion, sunscreen, sweat etc are very dulling. Keep that baby sparkling!

There are actually no pink diamonds involved - just a result of my shitty photography skills that it looks that way. All white!
