Ok, it's my last one. Not officially mine, but within borrowing distance. That's all I'll say.

This is a stunning piece. All I do is look in the general direction and it says "look at me!!!" And I can't turn away.

My biggest concern is the softness of the stone. Only for those who take very good care of their jewelry.

I think it is beautiful! However, I never wear green so that is one color I probably will never get. I love it in yellow gold, though!

LLJsmom, I came really close to getting this pendant over the holidays but hesitated because I wasn't sure how well green matched with other pendants and clothing. What do you think? Also, the SA told me that for the malachite, the darker the green the better. Do you know if this is true?

Hmmm... I never asked the question. We just looked for the one with the prettiest striations. But I do think that malachite for those who are careful with their jewelry. While at the boutique, I spied a pair of magic alhambra malachite earrings that had a huge crack, almost lopping off one of the clover leaves. I pointed it out to the SA and they examined it and confirmed that it was completely damaged. Not sellable. They think it might have been dropped on the stone floor. So take good care of it if you get it.
