Quoting my own post that I accidentally posted in hangout.

I just saw this orbitcleaner.com on CVB Instagram. Has anyone tried it? I wonder if it can clean multiple rings at a time. I would love to hear what yall think of this. It looks pretty neat!

Speaking of cleaning, I only use my ultrasonic occasionally with pave pieces. I have heard so many conflicting info. WF recommended only using an ultrasonic monthly at most on pave. VC has on his website not to use an US. CVB says it's fine daily.

TIA for your thoughts!

Take a look. orbitcleaner.com

Not a fan by the looks of it in my opinion, get something on a brush and it could make a real mess of your ring with no warning before hand.
Its also possible to catch a head on a brush and pull it off by the looks of it.

Not professional but yeah not something I would want to try. I would be afraid of catching and loosening diamonds. at least I know when I use a super soft toothbrush that I am being very very gentle.

Looks a little too ‘gadgety’ to me, and more complicated than my simple mini-crock w/lid that I keep diluted Mr. Clean Citrus in for daily quick cleanings w/a simple brush. Maybe if you’re only a once/week ring cleaner, something like this could be okay (with some risks as noted above by others). But my jewelry never gets that much ‘gunk’ build-up to warrant that. And I’m not sure how you would clean - say - a necklace, bracelet or earrings in it.

Personally, I’m good with my ‘tried & true’ methods .... now if only we could get around to getting the whole house water softener so the hard water spots can just quit already! :wall:

Too much out of my control with all of those brushes! I clean my rings every day so they never really get a lot of gunk built up on them. I use Dawn or Windex or Mr. Clean - anything that cuts grease. I use my ultrasonic several times a week although I don't have pave diamonds. I figure if one of the stones should fall out, it would at least be in the basket where I could find it. I always take my rings off when putting on lotion and I pat my hands dry with a paper towel before putting my rings on. I gotta have the lotion and I gotta have clean diamonds so that is my routine. Diamond rings can be a lot of work - lol!! :wall::appl:

It reminds me of a car wash! It’s innovative for sure, but I’m not a fan of that many brushes going to town on my settings.

Hello all! A partner of ours makes ORBIT and it actually works great. The brushes are very soft and they won't catch on anything or scratch anything. It's basically the same concept as a soft toothbrush, warm water and dish soap but all combined in a simple to use automatic unit. Great for weekly ring cleanings. Have a great weekend!
