This one isn't great. The angles aren't ideal, and the image confirms leakage.

Are you set on using JA, or can we look at other vendors for you? What's your budget and minimum color/clarity requirements?

I'm not set on any particular vendor. I've been looking around a few websites but this one seemed to be one of the better ones.

I'm looking to spend around $10k and F+ and VS1+, as long as it's eye clean.

I'd appreciate any insight or suggestions.

Here are some super ideal options. These should be eye clean, but you would want to call and confirm to make sure it meets your definition. If color sensitivity is not a huge factor, I really like the 1.17 G VS2. There will be a noticeable difference in size between these two. I'm sure someone will post some non-super ideals also.

These are great choices. Gs in there, but unless you or your intended specifically have seen G color and find it too "tinted", it should be completely fine. Same with VS2 vs. VS1--both will almost certainly by eye clean, especially in a "super ideal" cut like ACA.

G will be very nice and quite white... I bought an H colour ER and it was colourless...

Both are excellent choices....Fool proof.

Unless you are very color sensitive it would be difficult to see the difference between F and G color especially once mounted. My wife had a G color super ideal from Brian Gavin and it was icy white to us. It was even a low G, Neil Beaty said it should have been graded H. Her new diamond is H color.

You have already received some great advice! I also wanted to add this stone to the mix... it looks quite beautiful and the G color should still be incredibly white! And VC's pave settings are TDF!!

I decided to hold off on buying that 1.17 G to see what else becomes available, especially at a higher color rating and maybe slightly lower in price. I'll currently looking at the item below. I ran it through HCA and it got a score of 1.2. I'm currently waiting for them to send me the Idealscope image.
