Opinions on GIA I Color VS1 Diamond

If you run the angles etc. through the HCA tool under the Tools tab, you can check if it scores under 2 - which, if it does, means the angles are complementary and should work well together.

An ASETscope image will help determine cut consistency across the stone and aid the identification of any leakage.

Am I seeing the wrong stone? I see an oval, which means HCA doesn't apply. But of course I agree that detailed images would help a lot! Just want to make sure I'm not confused!

I see an Oval too...is my eye-sight getting worse?:lol-2:

@Shellbelle - I should be "ok" but it really depends how much mush is in the stone and if its trapping color. I think the only way you're going to be
able to tell is to see it for yourself. I think the image looks pretty good but I may have a higher tolerance than you.

It’s an oval. That explains why the HCA wouldn’t work. I’m new at this, so I thought I was doing something wrong.

LOL

Apologies all - I didn't have time to spend time answering properly so I must have assumed it would be a MRB without clicking the link (or even reading it said oval in the link)...
