I''m not a matchy matchy girl and I actually like how the angles play off of each other. Plus, the band sounds like such a bargain for less than $500. The ONLY thing that I don''t love about the set is that the diamonds in your wedding band appear warmer than the diamonds in your e-ring. As much as I love non-matching sets, I might focus too much on the subtle difference in shades between the two bands. Still, I think it would be a good band to keep.

Well it WAS a good deal... Maybe I''ll keep it and buy another micropave band and wear it with one band on either side as a RHR like this... (excuse the blurry pic...I''m still new at this!)

may be a tiny bit less blurry...

I looooove that tilted marquise band with that teensy micropave band!! Looks amazing!! How does the micropave band look with you e-ring?? Is it too thin?

It is way too thin. The micro pave is only 1.3 mm and the e-ring is between 2.5 and 3mm at its thickest point. The micro pave was actually my first try at a wedding band. I''m developing an addiction...

since it''s *so* pretty AND it was a great deal, i''d keep it for a RHR or for mixing and matching. i love the look with your thin micropave band.

but do keep looking for a wedding band until you find something you absolutely love.

imo, a girl can never have too many bands!

I so understand your problem! I''m there myself, I sent mine back, by the way before my time was up. I have looked around more and I''m back to the first one I had. So maybe u could do that until u are sure. You can always wear it on the other hand if u find something u like better later. Atleast thats what I decided.

Good Luck,

Wow- I had join pricescope so I could ask- who makes that band and where can I find it? I personally wouldn''t use it as part of a set either, but it''s gorgeous on its own.

I''m not sure who made it, but I bought it at a little store in Fredericksburg, VA called Gemstone Creations. They could probably get another!

That''s actually one of the great things about this band! I got it for REALLY cheap (under $500!!!) so we can afford another band too! I was also hoping to get something like the attached pic made so I have a platinum-only band to wear when I''m working out, etc.
That''s nearly the same exact band that my friend has as her e-ring. Hers has diamonds in the flowers, and it is in platinum.

Like the flower ring!? Do you know where she got it?

oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I love it! I''d choose it for myself!

I do like how the marquis band looks with your micropave band. Hmmm, makes me wonder how the band would look with another micropave flanking the other side....

As for your wedding band, you should not feel just so-so about it. For your 1st attempt, you mention that you found that the micropave was way too thin, so you should find something you are happy with. I must say though, despite the fact that you have not found your ideal wedding band, your "near misses" are pretty and you might just end up with quite a nice collection of bands to wear, not such a bad thing!

ETA: I did a google search for princess wedding bands and came across a designer by the name of Peter Storm. I have never heard of him, but he has wedding bands incorporating the "starset" of the princess stone. Unfortunately, I cannot post a picture here, but take a look at his site: http://www.peterstormjewelry.com/home.html. Not sure if this is the best route for you, but it is always fun to look.
