Hello all! I''m going to post some pics of my possible wedding ring with my e-ring. I only have a few more days to exchange the wedding ring if I''m not going to keep it. Can I get some opinions? Sometimes I love them together and other times I just think they look ok. I''m driving myself CRAZY being so indecisive! Any opinions positive or negative would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

To be honest, I think you have answered your own question! If you are only so-so about the pairing, then keep looking. I will say the pairing is unique and if you are comfortable with not having a perfect wedding set, then either go for the band you have or look for something else along those lines.

ETA: I am not a terribly visual person, but how about a design like this? http://www.faycullen.com/wedding_bands/800/b414r2d.html

I think they're cool together! But I'm not a matchy kind of person. Is there an option for you to get another band(more matchy--or just different)so you can mix and match as you please?

Also, there's something really interesting about the starset princess with the slanted marquise shapes.

That''s actually one of the great things about this band! I got it for REALLY cheap (under $500!!!) so we can afford another band too! I was also hoping to get something like the attached pic made so I have a platinum-only band to wear when I''m working out, etc.

Great idea!
It''s nice to have options.

Here is a picture of that design from Fay Cullen (be sure to read about their return policy). http://www.faycullen.com/wedding_bands/800/b414r2d.html

omieluv, That is a beautiful ring too! Decisions, decisions.

It is 2mm, so take that into consideration as well!

I agree with Coatimundi!

I have to say that I like the way the ER and the band play off against each other. The way the diamond is set and the angle of the marquis on the WB. Yep, the more I look at it the more I like it. It is unique!

To be honest, it looks very busy to me. Does that make sense? While I think both rings are really pretty on their own, I personally wouldn''t choose to wear them together.

You could also go with a nice bead set band with miligrain like the one on the antiqueengagementrings.com site.

Click on "Bands" and then "Classic Recreations" Scroll down to the Replica Art Deco Wedding Band (page 2). Again, I am not good at this, so maybe someone with a better sense of style will be able to help you!

I like them too. The milgraining definitely ties them together and I think the marquise shape gives it a touch of whimsy and femininity.

I couldn''t have said it more.. I was definitely thinking it looks a little busy.. Maybe a channel set band with milgraining like your ering setting would be nice..

Also, there''s something really interesting about the starset princess with the slanted marquise shapes.

My thoughts exactly!

I love that slanted marquis with the starset princess also - but I wonder if you might be happier with the ring that omieluv posted? It seems like a happy compromise between the matched-non matched (because it doesn''t incorporate new shapes - it''s still the round diamonds and starset princess which imitates your e-ring).

Hm. These are all really great suggestions. Thank you all for your input!!

I like the interesting way the starset princess and that slanted marquis shapes look together as well, BUT I''m not sure I would be loving them if worn together all the time.

I would really like to see it with the band omieluv posted... sticking with the same shapes might make it less busy (but not sure if they would "fit," yanno?)

If you are not sure, don''t rush. Find something you love all the time.

sera, this is a good point! The jeweler where I bought it has an exchange only policy and my time is almost up, but I noticed that the ring is slightly bent (doesn''t sit flat on a flat surface) so I was considering trying to return it... I have no idea why I''m so indecisive about the wedding ring...

I really like the combo I also really love that flower ring

but if you don''t feel 100% sure now I don''t know if you will later on either

If yo uaren''t sure, don''t keep it. Listen to your gut, you should loooooove your rings. Keep looking, you will find it!

I agree with Tacori et, al. I like the star set princess with the slanted marquise. I agree that if you aren't happy though... then it's not right.

1st off your engagement ring is unique and beautiful.

2nd: (This is only my honest opinion) I don''t know if I like the band paired with the e-ring. It is ok, but it doesn''t grab me.

I think that the one listed above from Fay Cullen would look so much better, or maybe a princes cut eternity type band.

I think it''s a unique and nice looking combo. I''m very curious though, I''d really love to see that band omieluv posted, I would love to see it with your ring for comparison!

i think they look neat together, but then i start thinking they are a little hard to look at together. i might go iwth something that flows a little more, but not too matchy matchy. i like different, but not distracting.

These are all very good points. I really appreciate all of the feedback ladies!
