Opinion on this Strong Blue Fluorescence Diamond Color F SI1

I have this Diamond on reserve. I have read several threads here on strong blue topic and feel encouraged to get it, but would like some experts to take a look at it. It is

Another backup diamond I have reserved and considering is this

Not an expert but,

I would request an ASET on them. Keep in mind the cut grades on fancy shapes are not given by GIA. They may be accurate, but I would verify myself. More than likely the vendor set these.

for SB fluor I would ask the vendor to verify that it is not hazy. I don't know that I would specifically seek out flour in an F, but I would have liked to have had it in my J to lighten it up in natural lighting.

Vendor says no Hazy/milky seen in Color F diamond

No on the first one. It's just sucking the light in and not reflecting it back out. The second one is ever so slightly better but neither of them are that great. You should look for loss of facets in under the table flashing on and off like mirrors.

Thanks is that reason it is selling at discount? and not the strong blue flor

I don't think that either is a particularly good performer. There may be some discounting for fluorescence, but I think that the price has more to do with the diamond's performance.
