Playing with this today: pink cuprian tourmaline with spinels and sapphire. It can be worn as a ring or pendant. Most puzzling is the UV fluorescence. It is not just that spinels and sapphires, but the tourmaline also seems fluorescent.

but i finally picked up my pink summery triple strand pearls from being restrung
i'll leave them in my bag so i wear them at work tomorrow

alas no one admired them or commented (our manager is off sick- she would have)
but i wore my new revamped Whity jet/ rose quartz necklace
I dont have a picture of the finished necklace but it looks 100 times better than it did here with the old ugly findings still attached, now they are knotted

i seem to be wearing my two copper wrapped stone pendants quite a lot, maybe im still hopeful the copper will help my achy joints

but ive got a rose quartz one coming

i really love rose quartz but its hard to find nice anything here, its always very washed out and crystal shop-ish looking (like the pendant i just brought )
its a very underrated stone saddly so goes into cheap settings which doesnt help it in the slightest IMHO

also just brought one of those ring sizing things the jewlers have as ive seen a strawberry quartz ring im in love with on etsy - its in silver (but thats a step up from copper )

im thinking of buying it for my birthday
i dont wear my good rings to work and it would be nice to wear something fun that i dont have to worry so much about seeing a i work wednesdays now (used to be my day off)

might aim to buy it this coming wednesday as i had to order a ring size thingy (it said 2 days delivery but it is now the weekend) as itd like to wear it on my pointer

ive now brought 3 pendants and two chains from that vendor
ive nevr worn this kind of thing before
its a little slow to arrive, but everything has been really nice when it arrives
its never full prince - they send a 70% off voucher so at that price its just a bit of a folly (in copper)

i wore my copper and rose quartz pendant yesterday
at first it felt way too big but compaired to what i see down the other mall jewelers it is a nice colour pink
pale but not too pale
i think once the copper tones down a bit i will enjoy it more
