On Wednesdays We Wear Pink (show me your pink jewels)

Happy Wednesday! Alas I don't foresee new pink gemstones in my near future as I'm trying to work on completing a few collections of other themes. However I realised I had these antique pieces that are quite pink and took them out for some photos. Posting them here in the hope of enticing out more pinks to the thread.

The left is a single Victorian pietra dura earring that I had converted into two pendants, and the right is an Edwardian hand painted miniature brooch. Both were impulse purchases with the lovely pink shades being a deciding factor!

so tomorrow is Wednesday and im going to try to remember to make an effort because you Wednesday girls have had some sort of effect on me

because last week i brought a pinky silver Christmas angle

and i never buy pink anything

i have these tiny dangle morganite earrings in rose gold i have fallen out of love with but ive had so much trouble with earrings of late

but maybe this is my way back in

and yes, tomorrow is rubbish day in Wanganui East !

I haven't worn this ring in a long time. I resized it to wear it as a right-hand ring a while ago, but injury to my right ring finger and creeping arthritis made it too painful to wear. So, I resized it back to wear as an alternate engagement ring on my left hand. So happy I did! Full circle....

im just going to transfer this day to thursday for me

wednesday is a panic with rubbish day and im always so tired after the long day and long walk the days before

this probably cant be shown in this thread but today i went to the jewler to get my vintage rose gold ring i had hoped had a pink synthetic tourmalin
anyway its glass
but its a pretty glas sstone and i want to reuse the setting, so im having the glass put into a cheaper silver setting as a pendent

My husband and I decided to sell my Canadian diamond engagement ring and we upgraded to this past, present and future three stone ring. It is from the 1920s and consists of an old cut 2.47 (8.22 x 5.79 x 5.7 mm) unheated hot purplish pink Burmese pink sapphire in 18k with 2 OEC diamonds. The sapphire is in 18k yg and the rest of the ring is platinum. I bought it from Gatsby Jewelers in the UK (Jade is delightful to work with) It fits like a glove and I don't think it will ever come off my left hand! I thought it looked better on my middle finger than my ring finger - it seems more balanced. If it is on my ring finger thr wraps on the sides wouls not show. So here is my new wedding ring! We have three girls so it is fitting that way too! It comes with a GCS Report. I have posted some glamour shots from the vendor. I adore the coronet setting, the chunky facets, everything about it! My photos make it seem less saturated than it is. It is a very lively stone with an inner fire that is always lit!
